While You Can’t Come To Us… Teledentistry Brings Us To You!

Anyone else sick of hearing about what they can’t do right now? No haircuts, no lunch dates with friends, no hugs! We are too. Wynkoop Dentistry is working everyday to gather information that will be used to support our patients with the shelter in place restrictions.
The governor of Colorado, along with the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association, have mandated that dental treatment be limited to “dental emergencies”. The mandate is set to expire April 30th, 2020, but mandates, research, and guidance continues to change everyday. We anticipate a slow transition in returning to previous dental operations.
We are working to support our patients during this time, and we know that oral health is important. With current mandates in place, we have adapted our practice to meet the needs of our patients. We will return phone calls promptly, answer emails, and continue to check on patients daily.
For many of you, now is a great time to schedule a consultation. Social distancing hasn’t stopped us from educating our patients and answering questions about a variety of topics. From the comfort of your home, you can join a virtual dental consultation. All of our consultations are free, and the treatment we provide via video conferencing will be discussed up front. A few virtual consultations available today:
- Invisalign (a clear aligner option to straighten teeth)
- Esthetic dentistry review
- Implant dentistry options
- HealthyStart (an alternative to braces for younger kids)
- Address jaw or neck tension with myofunctional therapy exercises
- Review sleep appliances that help manage sleep apnea
We also have doctors and hygienists available to review delayed treatment due to COVID, or to discuss available options for previously recommended dental treatment.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to schedule online by clicking here or by calling us at 303-572-4487. We want to help, and we thrive on educating our patients! We are excited to provide assistance in any way possible, and look forward to serving you.
Continue to look for additional communication from us. We will begin seeing more patients in the office soon and will provide additional clarity as it’s available. As always, we set our goals to exceed the standards set forth by the dental governing bodies. We will continue to provide a clean and safe environment protecting our patients and team from COVID-19. We look forward to providing guidance on all new and changing dental office standards in the weeks to come.
