Meet the doctors of Wynkoop Dentistry

Our Doctors

Dr. Erin Cherry

I’ve been at Wynkoop Dentistry since 2012 and I couldn’t be more excited to wake up in the morning and go to work. My team loves our patients as much as I do and we make being at the dental office a fun experience…can you imagine?!!

I am happiest when I am learning and growing.  I like to stay on top of what’s new and great to treat patients.  In particular I’m very interested in the bite and how it relates to your overall health.  This includes TMD treatment as well as straightening teeth with Invisalign to create better oral health.  I believe in prevention and teaching people about how to avoid dental problems before they start. I’m involved in numerous study clubs and take a lot of time to attend continuing education each year.  Another thing I enjoy about being a dentist is building relationships with my patients and empowering them to love their teeth as much as I do!

I grew up on the other side of the mountain in Grand Junction.  I headed west to UC San Diego for Undergrad and then up to University of the Pacific for Dental School in San Francisco.  I couldn’t stay away from Colorado forever, this great state is where my heart belongs. I enjoy being outdoors and traveling.  I live in the Highland neighborhood and love the community feel it has while still being close to bigger city conveniences like delicious restaurants.  My husband Daniel and I have two daughters and one son to keep us busy!

Dr. Stephanie Miller

When I was in the 6th grade, I wanted to be exactly like my dad’s best friend, a dentist in the military. Fourteen years later, I made my dream reality when I graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and commissioned as a Captain in the US Army. The Army took me many places in five years…many I’d never imagined visiting!

I met my husband Mike during my graduate residency in Colorado Springs. I spent the next 2 years in Alaska overseeing and providing the dental care for 3500 Soldiers in my Airborne Infantry brigade (and yes, I did jump out of planes!). The last 2 years were spent in Maryland seeing patients full time while managing a satellite clinic and providing the clinic training for the entire staff. The Army taught me a lot, especially patience, resilience, diligence, and attention to detail. While I will miss the peers I met and my amazing patients in the military, I’m very excited to join the team at Wynkoop Dentistry and serve our community.

I spend many hours each year taking continuing education classes to expand my skills. One goal of mine is to be a fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry by 2020.  The amazing commitment this will take will directly result in a higher level of care that I believe each and every patient deserves! I am excited to join the Wynkoop Dentistry team because of their commitment to the highest quality of care and treating our patients as well as we would our own families. The best part of my day is when a patient tells me that now they love coming to the dentist because of the kindness we have shown them.

Being new to Colorado, you’ll find me and my husband, Mike, out exploring and trail running with our dog Frank whenever we get the chance!

Dr. Alexandra Lindauer

I absolutely love working at Wynkoop Dentistry – the positivity, enthusiasm, and overall vibe of this practice is electric, and I hope you feel it too!  Working in such a supportive environment fosters a culture centered around teamwork and top-notch patient care, and I’m so happy to start sharing my love of dentistry with you.

I grew up in a family of engineers, so my entire upbringing was saturated with a passion for science, mechanics, and creativity.  Quickly realizing I was an extrovert and better suited for a career working with people, I found the perfect amalgam (pun intended) of my interests in a single profession: dentistry.  I like to think of myself as “a citizen of the world,” having spent my childhood bouncing around from state-to-state and country-to-country. My Air Force family’s tendency to move so frequently instilled in me a love of meeting new people and getting to know them more personally.  I apply this to my work, and I love hearing from fearful patients that I’ve changed their perception of dentists.

I moved to Colorado after graduating from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and fell in love with this beautiful state.  After graduating from dental school, I stayed in Colorado to complete my residency in hospital dentistry before ultimately deciding to create a permanent home in Denver.  I have been happily working as a general and special care dentist in private practice ever since! I love my job because it allows me to get to know individuals and families, and watch them grow.  Working at Wynkoop Dentistry allows me to utilize the latest in science and technology to provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for everyone. When I’m not practicing dentistry or telling (bad) jokes to my patients, you can find me climbing up (or skiing down) a mountain, reading books, gardening, or testing out new recipes in the kitchen!
